Can you paint Crossapol on the frog?
Yes you can, and it is a good idea to do so. The frog has many naturally
occurring cracks and crevices that can be a safe haven for the
microorganisms that can cause thrush. Crossapol seeps down inside these
fissures and kills these bugs. Painting the frog will help make it strong
and tough also.
Can you use too much Crossapol?
Yes, although we have only run into this situation on rare occasions. If
the relative humidity has been fairly low, the walls may become overly dry
and tend to split when nails are driven into them during shoeing. It is not
possible to use too much on the sole. We recommend following the directions
on the label.
