"Our tester, a farrier who specializes in sport horse shoeing, tested Hoof Marvel for us during a summer of drought conditions that had the hooves of many of clients’ horses so dry that he had to chip away at them.
To test the product,our tester carried a bottle of Hoof Marvel with him at all times, spraying a fine mist on all four hooves of any animal that needed it: shod or not, stall-kept or pasture-kept, in work or not.
After spraying all four feet, he’d turn around and pull his tools from the truck and come back to find a noticeable difference in the pliability of the first hoof he’d sprayed. He would trim that hoof first, and by the time he finished the others were much more workable. A few horses’ hooves were so extremely dry that they needed two or three wettings within a fifteen minute period to become pliable; still, our tester says, he probably couldn’t have worked on them at all without the product."
